Clean Doesn't Mean Healthy!

The Problem: Manual cleaning procedures are ineffective at controlling or killing today's pathogens!

Clinical Research from major Universities have linked your home's living environment to a plethora of illnesses! Even though maintaining clean surfaces is a critical first step,  it is simply ineffective in controlling dangerous pathogens.

Cleaning with water and detergent cleaners using sponges, wipes, cloths and mops.  Simply moves germs from one surface to another.

A recent study from Cardiff University’s School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, concluded the following:

  • Manual cleaning falls short of killing pathogens.

  • Cleaning wipes were extremely inconsistent in killing pathogens on surfaces, even after 10 seconds of wiping.

  • All seven of the detergent wipes spread bacteria onto other surfaces, essentially making the potential infection problem worse.

  • No matter how well you clean, your home still contains old pathogens!

Additional Studies show that manual cleaning procedures cover less than 30% of surface areas. To make matters worse, harmful Pathogens can live on surfaces for over a year!

Important Notes:

A household cleaner with a 99.9% disinfection claim, on average, kills only half the germs of a Hospital approved disinfectant!

  • 1 Germ will reproduce into over 1,000,000 germs within 6 hours!
  • Cleaning is a crucial first step for all Healthy Homes!
  • Cleaning with bleach is toxic.
  • Cleaning with spray disinfectants kills a small percentage of pathogens.

If you think a clean home is a healthy home, Think Again!

The invisible enemy in your home...Viruses & More!

Your home is your sanctuary, but your home harbors hundreds of thousands of living organisms that includes allergens, bacteria and viruses (Pathogens) that threaten your family’s health and well-being.  These Pathogens are stronger, travel faster, and are becoming increasingly resistant to antibiotics and traditional disinfection techniques. Yesterday’s Pathogens are becoming tomorrows Superbug!

Cleaning Focuses on Look and Smell. Cleaning, Does Not Disinfect!

Manual cleaning is accomplished using soap or detergent in water. Sometimes cleaning tools (including sponges, cloths and mops) simply move germs from one surface to another

Disinfection Focuses on Health and Disease Prevention!

Disinfecting refers to the killing of germs, bacteria, and other pathogens on a surface,

or rendering pathogens incapable of reproducing.

Studies show that manual cleaning covers less than 30% of surfaces.    Proper cleaning should use an FDA Hospital approved disinfectant applied through a touchless application that covers all surfaces exposed to air.

Hospital approved Disinfectants are up to 1000 times more effective  than most store bought disinfectant cleaners.

Indoor Health Concerns

Cleaning Supplies & Air Fresheners

According to the EPA, most cleaning supplies and air fresheners contain Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) which emit gases from certain solids or liquids. VOCs include a variety of chemicals, some of which may have short term and long term adverse health effects.

Energy Efficient Homes

New homes are built tighter for energy efficiency.  Tighter homes trap toxins by reducing external air flow, so the home cannot "breathe."   Having realized the issue, the EPA has revised the Energy Star Standards to include their new "Air Plus Program."  California has passed legislation to address the issue.

New and Old Carpets & Furniture

All carpets and furniture harbor dust mites, pet dander, insect fecal matter, particle pollution, lead, mold spores, pesticides, dirt, and dust.

In addition, chemicals used in furniture and carpets can be harmful to your health. Some of these chemicals and glues are made with volatile organic compounds (VOCs), which emit odors and pollutants. New carpet installation also has been associated with wheezing and coughing in babies.

The Physics of a Sneeze!

New Sneeze Research From MIT's Bourouiba Group

  • Each sneeze contains over 40,000 droplets.
  • A turbulent cloud carries large droplets (green) and smaller droplets (red) through the air for up to 25 feet for a sneeze and 19 feet for a cough.
  • Droplets stay suspended for up to 10 minutes — travel far enough to reach someone at the other end of a large room.
  • They travel high enough to reach the ceiling ventilation system.
  • Once in the ventilation system, the droplets are spread throughout the home.
  • Each droplet contains Bacteria, Viruses and Pathogens!

  • Bacteria is a microorganism that does not depend on other organisms for survival.
  • Bacteria can survive on surfaces like door handles, sinks, mops, rags, countertops, floors, beds, pillows, remote controls, cell phones, etc. for long periods of time.
  • Common examples of bacteria include Pseudomonas, Staphylococcus, Salmonella and E. coli.

  • Viruses are microorganisms that must attach to other organism hosts (Like You & Your Family) to survive.
  • Direct Contact is required for these microorganisms to survive.
  • Common examples of Viruses include Influenzas, Hepatitis, HIV, Norovirus, Bird flu and Ebola.

  • Fungus is a primitive plant that is a parasitic (obtains nourishment from other living organisms) or saprophytic (feeds on dead or decaying plant or animal matter.

  • Common Fungi include Athlete's Foot, Yeast, Eye Infections, Ringworm, Mold, and Valley Fever!

Mold & Mildrew

  • Mold is a Fungus that lives in the soil, on plants, and on dead or decaying matter.
  • Mold produces tiny spores to reproduce, which can become airborne.
  • Dead Spores are just as toxic as live Spores.
  • Mold grows in warm, damp places and is often an issue after water damage.
  • Mold is often associated with Asthma, Allergies, and other Respiratory issues.

  • Spores are the reproductive element of certain microorganisms.
  • Spores are generally dormant and can survive for long periods of time, sometimes years, and are very difficult to kill!
  • Spores generally are not killed by most disinfectants!

Dust Mites

Dust mites are tiny microscopic relatives of the spider that live on mattresses, bedding, pillowcases, upholstered furniture, carpets and curtains.

Dust mite's fecal waste is an allergent with symptoms ranging from mild to severe. A mild case of dust mite allergy may cause an occasional runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. In severe cases, the condition may be ongoing (chronic) resulting in persistent sneezing, coughing, congestion, facial pressure, or severe asthma attacks.
